Weekly Update: Apr 11–17, 2026
The numbers look great this week, but it doesn't feel that way. I built my first app with Claude Code!
The week felt less productive than the numbers suggest. It feels like I only did one thing that moved the business forward: the onboarding call deck. Everything else felt like business as usual.
One thing I'm also noticing: as I start tracking client call hours more closely, I'm spending more time doing client work async — which is fine, but my true cost to serve isn't being surfaced. The 7h figure only captures live calls, so the real picture is murkier than it looks. Something to figure out as the metric matures.
The highlight was building my first app, Sleep Lab, using Claude Code. It was easier than expected and a heck of a lot of fun!

Created the onboarding call deck this week. It's already making onboarding noticeably more efficient and effective!

One discovery call and one closing call, with a new client confirmed to start next week.
I deferred the start date to give myself time to prep. Right now, I'm focused on streamlining the program and making it less labor-intensive. Onboarding new clients at the same time adds some complexity, but it's a good problem to have 🙏
