New client, finally driving the north star metric for client success, picking a CRM, and a case study that reminded me the program works and changes lives.

CEO / Product
Restarted Weekly Accountability Threads in my community and FINALLY tracking the # job-relevant conversations per active client.
I believe this is THE metric that is both 1) under their control/actionable, and 2) highly correlated w/ how quickly they get an offer.

Started tracking a new NSM for my business this month, which is hours / client / week.
This is key to being able to achieve my goal of spending max. 10h/week on client calls, while achieving revenue goals. This quarter’s revenue goal: €6k/mo, which means 2 new clients per month. Baseline is 10h/week for 7 clients ⇒ 1.5h.
Reviewed my tech stack. I’m probably going to invest in a CRM, most likely Copper.
My criteria:
- User-Friendly
- Pricing
- Sales + Client Success – Need one tool from lead → active client. Not just a sales pipeline.
- Customizable
- Automation
- Scales to €1M – Must handle 100+ leads/mo, 10+ clients/mo, 2–3 coaches + 1 salesperson eventually.
Here are the other CRMs I considered:

Started working on building a structured client journey.
Started with defining the challenges, milestones, and “activation points”. Very excited about this.
Sales & Marketing
- New client J started!
- Finally edited a case study testimonial, waiting for her review.
She is a Senior User Researcher with 15+ years of experience who moved from India to the US to Berlin. Finding a permanent role in Germany had been a goal since she arrived in 2022. After joining Brave New Path in April 2025, she landed a Senior User Researcher role at a fintech company five months later — €78k at 25 hours a week.
Her reply when I asked where she’d be right now if she didn’t join Brave New Path:
Oh my gosh, I don’t even want to think.
Maybe I would be doing an Ausbildung, or working as a train driver, or a cat groomer or something...
Maybe I would have gotten some more freelance assignments. But I don’t think I would have gotten a role like this — where I get to look at everything and do this amount of strategic research. I don’t think I would have gotten that.
Client Delivery
- Did 7 client calls, 1 strategizing for a final interview (presentation) and 1 finalizing his CV to reposition from frontend to full stack engineer 🤞
