Today, I wrote an email update to Gen Propel's subscribers on what we're up to. I haven't done this in four months. It showed.

To make my writing more personal, I always start by addressing it to a hypothetical person, ex – "Hi Dave". And that's exactly what I did. I sent 47 people an email starting with, "Hi Dave."

I had to immediately send a follow up email to say, "Sorry you're not Dave πŸ˜…" πŸ˜„
